Jacob graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2003 after an initial pursuit of a degree in Physical Therapy. The aspect that he loved most about Physical Therapy was the manual work, and he was disappointed in the actual amount of massage that Physical Therapists could perform due to insurance limitations.
He began doing massage working at Walla Walla General Hospital where he provided the opportunity for complimentary massages to all the patients there as well as having a place for employees to receive massage. Jacob and his family then relocated to Nevada where he worked as a Physical Therapy aide and massage therapist at a local clinic.
When Jacob and his wife had their third child, they decided it was time to move back to where their families lived and Jacob began working for Lefore’s Spa in Walla Walla.
In April of 2015 Jacob decided that he wanted to get back to his roots and work in the clinical setting once again and began working here at Elmenhurst Chiropractic Clinic. In his own words:
"I have enjoyed having the wide range of experiences and unique techniques I’ve picked up from working in these varied massage venues. I have also pursued extended education and continued to expand my knowledge base of massage and especially enjoy working with clients that have limited movement due to frozen shoulder. I’m thrilled to be back in a focused therapeutic environment like Elmenhurst Chiropractic and look forward to helping my clients feel better and move comfortably through the life they want."
