Jacob Lyn Thomason was born and raised in Walla Walla. After high school he relocated to Portland, Oregon. Maintaining fitness was important for Jacob, but his ability to run became limited due to leg pains. He was eventually relieved of this pain with therapeutic massage. Being impressed with the success of this treatment and wanting to help others overcome musculoskeletal pains, he decided to become a massage therapist and enrolled in East West College in Portland.
After completing an 800-hour program from East West College, Jacob graduated in 2016 and passed a national board examination to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. His studies focused on fascial manipulation and structural integration, which continue to be a focus in the care of his patients. A blend of Swedish therapy, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy, fascial manipulation, and myofascial massage are key modalities that he blends for effective outcomes with the various conditions with which patients present.
Jacob returned to his Walla Walla roots in 2018 and began practicing at Elmenhurst Chiropractic and Massage Clinic. His focus is to provide the highest standard of professionalism in delivering effective and efficient treatment to assist each patient in achieving his or her health goals.
