Dr. Dan has been a practicing chiropractor since 1995. He enjoys treating various types of conditions and injuries such as: low back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, whiplash injuries from car collisions, work injuries, sporting injuries and the “injuries & conditions of everyday life”. He treats both new and chronic conditions.
Dr. Dan feels it is imperative to offer the most effective, well researched and the gentlest possible care for patients. Just as lasers have replaced scalpels in some surgeries, advanced technology has become available to chiropractors to assist in delivering chiropractic treatment.
It is for this reason that Dr. Dan has incorporated the Impulse iQ® medical adjusting instrument in his practice. This enables him to provide safe and effective treatment for patients of all ages, with greater comfort and effectiveness. This technology is the only FDA approved, UL Certified and ISO Class II medical adjusting instrument on the market. Impulse iQ® is the most technologically advanced chiropractic adjusting instrument available.
It is the most advanced due to extreme speed, controlled force and computerized technology, all born out of years of research. Impulse iQ® is twice as fast as other adjusting instruments and 100x faster than manual chiropractic adjustments. The gentle thrust is faster than the body’s tendency to tighten up and resist the adjustment. Impulse iQ® gives the doctor objective feedback about how your problem area is responding, for treatment custom tailored to you individually.
Impulse iQ® has three different force settings for different parts of the body. This also enables better treatment for patients of various ages. The controlled low force thrust of Impulse® make treatments comfortable. High-tech computerized adjustments with Impulse iQ® precisely measure how the spine is moving during the treatment so that treatment is specific to the patient. Years of research have gone into the development of the Impulse iQ® Adjusting Instrument to create gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments that are safe and effective for patients of all ages.
Dr. Dan believes that just as one must strive to give the most possible in their professional life, one must also strive to provide for their community.
“I have been very fortunate to have experienced several seasons coaching boys and girls youth soccer. I have been privileged to spend many hours poolside timing high school swim races. I have spent many years on the board of the local homeless shelter. But the most fulfilling aspect was weekly meal preparation and having the opportunity to provide encouraging counsel to those in need.
“As a member of the local Rotary club, I was fortunate to be able to chair many fundraisers such as annual auctions. This endeavor enabled funds to be raised for college scholarships and worthwhile community projects. I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to chair the organization and construction of the playground equipment in Tietan Park. I was privileged to be elected to a seat on the board of directors where I served for 7 years.
"I consider the opportunity to serve patients an incredible privilege. It is wonderful to enable a mother to lift her child, or a father to work without pain. It is amazing to hear that someone is enjoying their retirement, after years of suffering from what was believed to be 'arthritis' pain. I strive to enable the greatest quality of life possible.”
